Chips were very dry but the fish was nice, not very greasy.

Took me back to when I was 8 at Blackpool seaside on a rainy day! I was eating fish and chips out of a newspaper with cold vinegar dripping onto the pebbles. Delicious!!

My family and I began living in Dawlish in 2016 and due to family issues, we hadn't found or been able to enjoy a decent fish and chips meal until towards the end of 2017! We decided to give Chips A'Hoy a try after disappointing experiences elsewhere and we were not let down by this delicious experience! With a very generous portion of fish and chips per customer, I had a wonderful dinner and then some for leftovers later that evening which still tasted amazing! Fresh, clean and not soggy at all after getting salt and vinegar, I think we've found our dream chippy that is not only tasty but well-priced. My mother who suffered poorly from cancer wanted to give thanks but did not have a google account, so I'm replying to let you know tonight's dinner was very much appreciated. <3

Great value, good portions, tasty food cooked fresh to order. Only reason it didn't get 5 stars was the onion rings were not from real whole onion rings. Otherwise, definitely recommend.

(OLD BAILEYS.)Yes THEY do things Great Here all The Time. (BUT ON THE Nov 7th ish I had my Cod and Chips and WOW WOW That was the the BEST EVER )(Had to SAY THAT GUYS AND GIRLS) The other Stuff they do are Fish of Different types and Chips and Pies, Sausages, Fishcakes and lots more.So come and try some first.

Great food, lovely batter and a friendly service. Shame not open later on a Friday and Saturday. But still a great chippy.

Cod was lovely. The thick pieces of fish were amazing. Friendly staff. Batter on the sausage wasn't crispy otherwise 5 stars. Cash machine just outside which was handy as they only accept cash! Prices were. Good too. Thank you.

Excellent gluten-free fish and chips.We travelled some distance to get gluten-free fish and chips and were not disappointed. Light and crispy batter and moist, perfectly cooked fish.Phone ahead to made sure they can have it ready.

Awesome fish n chips...... I was out with a group of six lads looking for a decent bite to eat and we found it. Tim who served us was a top man. He let us bring in our own drinks (beer) and chatted away being super friendly. Great service and top notch grub!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Have to say the cod was possibly the best I’ve ever had. Outrageously good. Whole family loved the food. We sat in the restaurant and the service was great!

Tastiest chip shop chips I've had for a while.

The chips are the best in dawlish. I get them one day in the week with curry sauce. Customer service is excellent
